Every object is a record
How a typed word becomes a safe, predictable game object.
[PLACEHOLDER]draft post[PLACEHOLDER] Draft for Stone to rewrite.
When you type “dragon”, the game doesn’t improvise. It looks up a record: one small, fixed set of fields that says how big the thing is, how heavy, what it’s made of, whether it floats, and what it can do.
size: large · weight: heavy · material: flesh
movement: walks, flies · abilities: rideable, makes_fire
Closed lists
Every field takes a value from a short list. A dragon can be large or huge, never “enormous-ish”. That’s what lets a level say “anything that floats gets you across” and know the answer for every object, including ones we haven’t made yet.
Adjectives are rules
“Giant” moves size up two steps and weight up one. “Flying” adds flight. Adjectives are plain code applied to the record, so “giant flying pig” behaves the same way every time.
